Medic(as I stated above) Has relatively low damage but insane survivability. Also get the parry timing for zed attacks down even if you take resistance instead of parry at level 15 it's an ability worth mastering. Too many zeds hitting you at once can easily overwhelm the 2 hp/sec and 2 hp/kill, so keep track of your health and don't get too cocky. Zerk's regen skills can make you feel invincible, but remember that you're not. Though a here's a good brief version of each: It's also worth noting that these perks are only easy wins if you know how they work, so look up guides on them. You also forgot Firebug(MWG+trenchgun is great for the late and boss waves) and Survivalist(Boomstick+RPG+M14 or Katana is amazing). It definitely has good enough survivability to make the higher difficulties easy in the "you will win" sense, but the lack of damage means you're going to be spending most of your rounds running and healing rather than wasting zeds. No contest Medic actually falls a bit flat in higher difficulties. And they will ♥♥♥♥ up, often enough to make it a tiring experience to focus on bossfights.Originally posted by Kotory:Zerk medic gunslinger. Or you find yourself kiting a Patriarch around the map for up to half an hour which isn't worth your time either. I guess you can also grind bosses but I always found it a gamble because if your team ♥♥♥♥♥ up and you fail, you'll end up not gaining anything. You'll still score most of the kills and your team will thank you for not mindlessly spamming the wrong target. You can either focus the FP and neglect your duty of clearing small zeds or you can ignore it and prevent your team from being swarmed. Scenario: you're a Firebug and a Flesh pound is charging at your team. Scoring top kills =/= being selfish or not a teamplayer. If you don't care about being a d1ck towards your teammates, then go for it. The best source of exp are bosses, so doing endless as mentioned above is far more efficient than chasing kills.īesides, players who chase kills/leaderboard play more so selfishly and less teamwork oriented. But still be able to kill an FP if you need to. If you focus on the RPG and taking down the FPs, you'll be an asset to your team but you won't level up fast. Doesn't matter who actually confirms the kill.Īn example: as a Demo, always carry grenade launchers and use all the grenades during a round. You only need to hit an enemy once to gain the full XP once it dies, so "tag" as many zeds as you can with a bullet/ melee hit to maximize XP. Boats give much more XP than anything below Sc/Fp so be sure to hit those. Score the most kills on your team every time. Originally posted by Rocknack:Focus on murdering as many critters as fast as you can. Remember also that in each update that is carried out, they will give double XP to upload faster. You can even finish at wave 15 and repeat back. Repeat again so as not to complicate yourself too much. A bit complicated when trying to get away from the big boys. HOE is possible even more, but it is much more intense if you know how to play.Ĭontainment Station is the easiest map, since you face an online corridor and perfect even for all persk. You will also increase the XP points faster, especially the bosses. But I prefer Suicidal to face the Zeds and get to know their dynamics better. Other than that health is a bit lower compared to Survival Mode. I have managed to climb a little faster and better learning the mechanics of the game, Zeds, Perks, Weapons, etc.Įndless Mode > Suicidal > Containment Station > Until wave 0 to 25Įndless Mode is perfect to be able to face in 4 waves and then in every 5 against the boss that give a lot of XP.
